Verb Pattern 1 (S + V + O + C)
1. Simple Present
a Active Sentence: They sell udon in Japanese restaurant
b. Passive Sentence: Udon is sold by them in Japanese restaurant
2. Simple Past
a. Active Sentence: Brian gave an expensive car to his wife in Liverpool.
b. Passive Sentence: An expensive car was given to his wife by Brian in Liverpool.
3. Past Perfect
a. Active Sentence: The painter had painted the door.
b. Passive Sentence: The door had been painted by the painter.
4. Past Perfect Continuous
a. Active Sentence: Jessica had been preparing a new song before she left to California.
b. Passive Sentence: A new song had been being prepared by Jessica before she left to California.
5. Present Continuous
a. Active Sentence: Brian is playing the bass right now.
b. Passive Sentence: The bass is being played by Brian.
Verb Pattern 2 (S + V + to-infinitive + C)
1. Simple Present: She prefers to buy book rather than make up.
2. Simple Past: American shoulder tried to attack the enemies in Japan.
3. Present Perfect: They have hoped to finish their performance tonight.
4. Present Continuous: She is promising to attend Judy's birthday party.
5. Simple Future: We will help to treat the children in Orphanage next week.
Verb Pattern 3 (S + V + O + to-Infinitive + C)
1. Simple Present
Active Sentence: My cousin persuade me to attend his graduation ceremony.
Passive Sentence: I am persuaded to attend a graduation ceremony by my cousin.
Active Sentence: Mina told Bayu to send the package in one day.
Passive Sentence: Bayu was told to send the package by Mina in one day.
Active Sentence: My mom was advising me to wash her dress softly.
Passive Sentence: I was being advised to wash a dress softly by my mom.
4. Present Perfect
Active Sentence: He has reminded me to walk quickly.
Passive Sentence: I have been reminded to walk quickly by him.
Active Sentence: Brian will invite Jasmine to join a fancy dinner in Seattle.
Passive Sentence: Jasmine will be invited to join a fancy dinner by Brian in Seattle.
