How to Avoid Nervous Breakdown During Exams
The nervous breakdown will be appeared, when you are confronted with a stressful situation. Many cases especially in college life, sometimes they feel nervous when will prepare something before an exam or during in the middle of exam. It's a normal response because the body released a hormone called adrenalin. If you have same experienced like that, perhaps have you ever been did many assignments with short deadline before exam? Yup, sometimes it makes you couldn't manage your time between did assignments and learning for the exam, so that when the day of the exam arrived, you are nervous and couldn't remember the materials that you had studied before. There are three ways how to avoid nervous breakdown such as prepare early to study the materials, keep focus, and maintain healthy lifestyle.
First, prepare early to study the materials. Study in one day with long term before examination is not effective. We can practice some materials before examination regularly. It can help you to know how far you have understood about the materials and improving memories skill. Moreover, make sure when lecturer give an assignment, it would better if you don't postpone the assignment. Another reason where make you feel exhausted during examination is always skip the assignments. You should encourage ourselves to study and stop wasting time. At least, choose the easiest assignment or submit the assignment which has the shortest deadline so that we have free time to study for examination. You can also using a timer to make the situation look like in the examination. Thus, you can understand how to control yourself when you are in the last minute.
Second, keep focus. The nervousness always suddenly appeared on the last minute, it makes you rushed to fill the answer randomly and not carefully. Of course, some of you also realized by answer the questions randomly it doesn't make the answer certainly correct. This thing would make you felt upset and regret at the same times because you had studied hard before, but the result was not good as expected. On the last minute, don't worry about how fast other people finish their test. Close eyes, take a deep breath, drink water, and make ourself relax. If you still have a little bit time make sure to revise the answer.
Last, maintain healthy lifestyle. Before starting the activities you should have to breakfast. Choose to drink a lot mineral water rather than caffeine such as coffee or tea. Drinking a glass of water when wake up is not only make rehydrate, it helps food move through the digestive system. You should stay hydrated by bring your own bottle of water in case the lecturer didn't allow you to buy mineral water during exam. Beside that, sleep enough before exam is quite necessary. It must be tired after study whole day, meanwhile you push yourself too hard. Your body need to recharge the immune system which means sleep enough for awhile until 8 hours. In addition, you can providing multivitamin supplement to protect them when you are experiencing stress, sleeping poorly, or didn't have free time to getting regular exercise.
Actually, there are many simple ways to avoid nervous breakdown during exam, but it's not easy to do and it depends on yourself. On the other hand, if you are still ignorant about the prevent, it would makes you get stress easily in any situation. You can start to make a plan during exam by try to follow these three ways in your daily activities. So, don't be ignorant to small thing that actually give you a lot of benefits.
